Mohamed Nazarali Ltd.was formed in 1918 as family  business. The steady development of this business, combined with rapid development of the Kenyan economy, culminated the formation of Lifting Equipment Company Ltd (LECOL) in 1978.

LECOL today provides comprehensive engineering services to a wide range of industries within Kenya and East Africa. The company head office and support facilities are located in the Ganjoni area of Mombasa, Kenya with offices and representation throughout East Africa.

LECOL supports its sales with a comprehensive spares and service operation. The head office facility in Mombasa Kenya, incorporates some 20,000-sq. ft. of engineering workshops with skilled technicians providing quality and efficient services.

In the refrigeration and air conditioning sector, the amalgamation of MOMO within LECOL enables the company to provide a comprehensive range of services, from initial study, design, supply, installation and commissioning through to total life support maintenance package.
